About product

Mr.Paint WWII US Neutral Grey 43

A lacquer model shade of neutral gray (Neutral Gray 43) from Mr.Paint. It is a lacquer-based paint intended exclusively for spraying with an airbrush: it is pre-thinned and ready for immediate use. This shade matches the standard neutral gray used on the undersurfaces of American aircraft of the Second World War, where it formed the lower part of a two-color camouflage together with an olive green upper color. Once dry it usually gives a satin finish.

Use

  • Intended for an airbrush only; apply it in several thin coats, preferably over a primer
  • The recommended working pressure is usually between 10 and 25 PSI
  • Pre-thinned, so for ordinary spraying no further thinning is needed; if necessary it can be adjusted with Mr.Paint thinner or with Mr.Hobby lacquer thinner
  • Quick drying and the good coverage typical of lacquer paints
  • Suitable for the undersurfaces of American aircraft of the Second World War

Who it is for

For modelers building American aircraft of the Second World War who want a faithful neutral gray and work with an airbrush. Suitable for more advanced modelers used to lacquer paints.

A lacquer product and flammable. Use it in well ventilated spaces, keep it away from open flame and use suitable respiratory protection. Keep out of the reach of children.
