About product

Mr.Paint WWII US Salmon-Pink Primer (30 ml)

A solvent-based modeling lacquer from the Slovak manufacturer Mr.Paint. The shade matches the salmon-pink primer coat that appeared in the interiors and on the substrates of American aircraft at the beginning of the Second World War, when it was produced by mixing zinc chromate with a red pigment. The lacquer is pre-thinned for immediate spraying with an airbrush, and the package holds 30 ml.

Use

  • Intended for the airbrush only, pre-thinned for direct application.
  • It can be thinned further only with lacquer thinner, never with water.
  • Suitable as an interior and base color in the factory finish of American aircraft.
  • Spray in thin coats on a degreased and clean base.

Who it is for

For modelers of American aircraft of the early Second World War who want to render period interiors and primer coats faithfully.

The lacquer is flammable and contains organic solvents. Work in a well-ventilated space, with a respirator and away from sources of ignition.
