Tamiya XF-62 Olive Drab is a matte (flat) water-based acrylic paint in a 23 ml bottle from the Japanese manufacturer Tamiya. The XF line denotes matte shades. Olive drab is the classic olive brown-green shade associated above all with American military equipment of the Second World War: tanks, armored vehicles, aircraft and gear. The paint covers well, flows smoothly and mixes easily with other Tamiya shades.
The paint is intended for military modelers, especially those interested in the American army of the Second World War. The matte surface makes an ideal base for subsequent washes and pigments during weathering. Thanks to the water base, fresh paint and tools wash off easily with water for as long as the paint has not dried.
Before it dries, the paint and the tools can be washed off with water. Use in a well-ventilated area, avoid contact with the eyes and keep out of the reach of children.
