XL Hrubá pigmentová pasta Tmavá

Sira Hobby XL Coarse pigment paste Dark — water-thinnable weathering with a coarse grain

The coarse-grained variant of the pigment paste from the Czech manufacturer Sira Hobby in the larger XL package of 100 ml, in a dark shade. Compared with the standard paste it has a markedly coarser grain and it creates a relief, rough texture of rich dark earth and fresh mud. It is a water-thinnable weathering product with pigment and filler for building up mud, dried earth and coarse deposits. The paste is non-toxic.

Use

• Coarse, relief deposits of rich dark earth on the undersides of vehicles and into the tracks.
• Textured dark areas and fresh mud in dioramas.
• Deepening the shadows and the depth of grainy mud under lighter deposits.
• Applied with a brush or a spatula; the consistency can be adjusted with water.
• Thinned and cleaned with water — it is a water-thinnable product, not an enamel and not a lacquer.

How it differs from the fine paste and from washes

Compared with the standard paste it has a coarser grain and gives a more pronounced, rough texture. It is not a liquid wash that flows into the detail, nor a filter that shifts the tone of a surface — it is a texture paste for building up the volume and the relief of earth.

Who it is for

For modelers of military vehicles and for diorama builders who want a pronounced grainy texture of dark earth that thins with water, without working with solvents.

A non-toxic, water-thinnable product. Even so, keep it out of the reach of small children and do not consume it.
