Yellow closes the trio of primary colors and is at the same time the shade that gives modelers the most trouble. It covers worse than the other tones and on a dark base it is literally lost, so it pays to work with it in thin coats and to start on a light base. Its use is wide all the same, from warning stripes on airfield and construction equipment through the yellow elements of aircraft markings to the mixing of green and orange tones, which are harder to come by than the primaries themselves. It will serve anyone who puts a palette together himself, and especially those who build green camouflage from their own mixture instead of from a ready-made shade. The dense paint from the tube moreover does not disappear after the first stroke the way a thin yellow does, and it crosses a darker base better. On agricultural machines, airfield equipment and sports cars yellow appears as the main body color as well.
Leave enough time between coats; a dense yellow applied all at once contracts and the surface stays uneven. Store the paint out of the reach of children and keep the tube closed.
