How to work with the material

Vegetation is seated last, after painting the terrain and after pigments. Yellow is clearly visible on a dark surface even in a small amount, so spread the tufts out irregularly and leave open areas between them. If a tuft does not hold by itself, stick it down with a drop of PVA or cyanoacrylate glue under its base; the glue must not wick into the fibers. The tufts can be divided with scissors into smaller clumps and spread out with a light press. We recommend dusting the bottom of a tuft with a pigment in the color of the terrain, so that the transition between the vegetation and the surface does not come off harshly.
