The historical figure Cold War Soviet Tanker 1:35 from Alpine Miniatures — a collector's resin figure of a Soviet tank crewman of the Cold War period.
Responsibility details are not available.
A collector's resin figure in 1:35 scale from Alpine Miniatures, representing a member of a Soviet tank crew of the Cold War period. It suits models of postwar Soviet armor or a diorama. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The subject is a Soviet tank crewman in the period tank outfit (overalls and the characteristic padded tank helmet). The postwar and Cold War period offers a wide range of markings and scenes; the figure is treated neutrally, with the emphasis on a natural stance suited to placing it beside a vehicle.
This is a multi-part resin casting for advanced modelers. First wash the parts in lukewarm water with dish soap to remove any mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks and lugs off carefully and clean the surfaces with a file or abrasive paper with your airways protected. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and fill any gaps. Apply a thin primer before painting; figures are usually painted with acrylics, oils or enamels, layering the shades step by step and working out the shadows and highlights on the face, the uniform and the equipment.
The resin figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
