M35 Mittlere Panzerwagen is a kit of the Austrian eight-wheeled armored car in 1:100 scale from Zebranomodel.
Responsibility details are not available.
The kit captures the Austrian heavy armored car M35, also known under the abbreviation ADGZ. 1:100 scale makes it a small model for a collection, for a display shelf or for a little diorama.
The M35 was an eight-wheeled armored car developed in Austria in the middle of the 1930s for the needs of the army and the police forces. Its characteristic feature was a symmetrical layout with two driving positions, thanks to which the vehicle could reverse as fast as it went forward, a valuable quality in narrow streets and on roads with no room to turn around. The vehicle had a rotating turret and was fairly heavy and well armored for its time. Only a few dozen were built; they were still in use during the 1940s.
Eight wheels mean the same work eight times over, so prepare and paint the wheels separately and only then fit them. Remove the parts with a sharp scalpel, sand the parting lines and degrease the model before painting; choose the glue according to the material of the parts. Apply the primer in a thin layer. Bring out the engraving and the hatches with a dark wash, liven up the edges with a dry brush and dust the lower areas discreetly with pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
