This resin kit captures the German Sd.Kfz.265 command tank in the early production version, in the small 1:100 scale. The model is intended for experienced modelers: the parts are separated from the casting blocks, washed free of mold release agent and bonded with super glue.
The Sd.Kfz.265, known as the kleiner Panzerbefehlswagen, was the first German purpose-designed armored command vehicle. It came about on the chassis of the Pz.Kpfw. I light tank: the rotating turret with its armament was replaced by a fixed raised superstructure, which provided room for the commander, the staff, maps and radio equipment. These command vehicles appeared as early as the close of the 1930s and served with tank units in the early period of the war.
Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). In 1:100 scale a clean finish and a fine accent on the edges come into their own; do not forget the characteristic radio antennas, which make the vehicle a command machine.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin kit. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
