Responsibility details are not available.
This is a kit model of a structure of the Czechoslovak heavy fortification in 1:1000 scale from the Czech manufacturer ROP o.s. The real subject is a blockhouse with the code name Horymir, one of the combat structures of the Bouda artillery fort in the Orlicke Mountains. The model in the small scale captures the typical look of a massive reinforced concrete structure.
The Bouda artillery fort belonged to the border fortification built by Czechoslovakia in the years 1935 to 1938. The structures of the fort were linked by extensive underground works and formed a strong defensive whole. The Horymir blockhouse was one of the combat structures of the complex; its thick walls were meant to resist artillery bombardment.
Separate the small parts carefully and finish the joints after gluing. Concrete stands out best with a gray base, dark washes into the hollows and a dry brush on the edges. Add the surrounding terrain with scenic scatter and greenery on a small plinth.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
