The plastic kit Hasegawa 1:12 Kawasaki KH250-B2 of 1977. A model of the classic Japanese motorcycle in a large scale with a richly detailed engine and frame.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Kawasaki KH250 motorcycle in the B2 version of 1977, in 1:12 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Hasegawa. The large scale makes it possible to work the engine, the frame and the running gear out in detail. The number of parts, the contents of the decal sheet and the color variants are given in the enclosed instructions.
The KH250 belongs to the family of quarter-liter Kawasaki motorcycles with a three-cylinder two-stroke engine that followed on from the earlier line and were sold in the second half of the 1970s. The three-cylinder layout can be told at first glance by the trio of exhausts and it gives the motorcycle its characteristic look and sound. It was a mid-capacity machine meant for ordinary road use, which nevertheless kept a lively character thanks to its two-stroke engine.
On motorcycles in 1:12 scale the build runs from the inside out: the engine and the frame first, then the running gear and finally the tank and the fenders with their final paintwork. Do not cement chromed parts with ordinary glue for plastic, as it would damage the surface. The runs of cables and wiring can be added with thin wire, which helps a model considerably. The tank and the side covers are sold by deep gloss, that is, by primer, thin coats of paint and a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
