The Beriev Be-14 is a Soviet amphibian aircraft from the Beriev design bureau, which specialized in water-based and amphibious machines. With its boat hull, the aircraft was derived from the bureau's line of seaplanes and intended for operation from the water. The design comes from the postwar era of Soviet aviation and is a less common type in collections.
We recommend thin cement for plastic and careful cleaning up of the joints; on an aircraft with a boat hull, pay attention to the seating of the floats and the lower fuselage. Lay down a primer before painting; an airbrush is ideal. Mask the transparent parts, and the panel lines can be brought out with a fine washable shade.
