Arabic Girl number 1, a civilian figure in 1:16 scale from MAiM. A single girl figure from the open range, ideal for filling out a civilian scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
This single civilian figure from MAiM portrays a girl, or rather a teenager; it is the first variant in an open range of individual girl figures, which differ in their pose. The large 1:16 scale gives the figure plenty of surface for careful painting, and it also works well as a small solitary piece in a bigger scene.
A single figure is the most flexible building block of a diorama: it fills a gap in a composition, holds the viewer's eye on a secondary motive or anchors the scale of props in the foreground. Combined with the other variants of the range or with the three-figure set of girls it makes a natural little group. The figure is compatible with vehicles and accessories in 1:16 scale.
Clean the casting up, wash it and prime it. With civilian clothing do not be afraid of stronger tones, because a single figure takes more vivid color than a whole group does. Support the folds of the cloth with a fine wash, shade the skin with oil paints and finish the details with a fine brush. A matte clear coat closes the work off.
The figure is supplied unpainted, as a casting to be cleaned up and painted; glue and paints are not included in the package.
