This detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds the rods for cleaning the gun barrel together with their brackets, for the early as well as the late model of the Tiger I tank. Metal parts replace the plastic brackets and rods with a more accurate and sturdier form. It is not a model but an accessory.
A set of rods for cleaning the barrel of the 8.8 cm gun was part of the Tiger I's equipment and was secured to the hull in a bundle by metal brackets. The position and the form of the brackets differed between the early and the late type, which this set covers.
