Turned barrel for the 20 mm RH202 MK 20 DM cannon (1:16) replaces the plastic barrel of the light cannon of the German Wiesel, Luchs and Marder I vehicles with a perfectly straight metal part.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a model of a vehicle but a turned metal barrel from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale. It replaces the plastic barrel of the 20 mm RH202 MK 20 DM automatic cannon of the kind carried by the German Wiesel, Luchs and Marder I vehicles. The metal part is perfectly straight, with a clean bore and faithful details that injected plastic cannot manage.
The Rheinmetall Rh 202 automatic cannon of 20 mm caliber served as the armament of light German vehicles of the second half of the 20th century, among them the Wiesel airborne carrier, the Luchs reconnaissance vehicle and the early Marder. A faithful barrel is a prominent visual feature on these vehicles.
Cut the plastic barrel off, clean up the mating surface and if necessary redrill the hole. Fit the metal barrel and secure it with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a primer for metal.
The model of the vehicle, glue and paints are not included in the package.
