Wash the casting, clean it up and prime it. Paint the crate in a strong shade and lighten the raised edges with a dry brush; treat the bottles so that they read as glass, which layering a dark base and gloss clear will help with. Apply the decals to a gloss surface, let them dry thoroughly and fix them with clear to whatever degree of sheen you want. A fine dust pigment at the end will settle the accessory naturally into its base.
