This photo-etched detail set from the Polish maker Aber in 1:16 scale holds the rear tool boxes of a Panther Ausf.G tank model. Fine metal parts replace the plastic boxes with more accurate shapes, latches and hinges and let you model them partly open as well. It is not a model but an accessory.
Stowage boxes for tools and gear were set at the rear of the Panther's hull. Their exact shape and the detail of their fittings are among the striking elements on a large model and settle the overall impression the vehicle gives.
