Aber 1:16 Tiger I, Ausf.E – rear fenders (late version) is a photo-etched detail set of rear fenders for a large scale model of the German Tiger I heavy tank.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set contains photo-etched metal rear fenders and related parts for refining the large scale kit of the German Tiger I heavy tank (Pz.Kpfw. VI) Ausf.E in the late version, in 1:16 scale. It is not a model of the tank but an accessory to a kit you already own. It is made by the Polish company Aber.
The Tiger I was a German heavy tank of the Second World War armed with the 88 mm KwK 36 gun. The late production version differed from the earlier ones among other things in the shape and the construction of the fenders. Thin metal in 1:16 scale makes it possible to reproduce their real thickness faithfully, and any service damage along with it.
Separate the photo-etched fenders with a sharp knife and shape them to the plastic part underneath. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) or a special glue for photo-etched metal. The metal edge lets you suggest a bent or torn-off fender realistically. Degrease the parts and apply a primer before painting.
This is a supplementary photo-etched set, not a model in itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
