1:24/1:35 MOVIE POSTER

A movie poster for a scene

A scenic accessory for dioramas in 1:24 and 1:35 scale, listed under the name of a movie poster. It brings into a scene a small thing that gives it both a place and a time: a bare house wall, a poster column or a notice board by an entrance gain content without your having to add another vehicle or figure. How many motifs the delivery holds is stated in the manufacturer's description.

Where a poster belongs in a scene

It looks best where it really would hang: on the render beside an entrance, on board fencing, on a post at a crossroads or on the wall of a hallway. Believability is made by irregularity. A poster pasted up in haste has its lower corner crooked, it lifts away at the edges and a new one tends to be pasted over an older layer; in a demolition site a torn and dirtied one is in place.

Work tips

• Try the placement out dry and only then reach for glue.
• Work with tweezers; a small part is easily dirtied and crumpled in the fingers.
• Rather tear the edge off than cut it; a torn edge looks more believable.
• Let the unevenness of the undercoat show through; a poster should not be stretched like a tarpaulin.
• When fixing it, follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Who it is for
