A diorama accessory in 1:24 scale from Italeri. It represents a standard twenty-foot shipping container, which suits kits of trucks and trailers as well as a standalone element of a diorama, a depot or a transfer yard. The model is built from injection-molded plastic parts.
The twenty-foot container is the basic unit of international container transport. Its corrugated sides, sturdy corner castings and double doors are among the characteristic features that the model captures faithfully in the large 1:24 scale.
Glue the parts with thin plastic cement, clean the joints up and, if you wish, treat the surface with a primer. The corrugated sides come into their own once the base shade has been sprayed on and the chipping, rust and lettering added with decals or stencils. Weathering with pigments and washes is rewarding as well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
