The parts snap together with no glue, so the build gets by without chemicals and without long waiting, an ideal choice for beginners, younger modelers and fans of fast wheels who want a result in a single afternoon.
The latter-day Ford GT is a top American supercar which took up the fame of the legendary GT40 of the 1960s. A low body with pronounced aerodynamic channels, a design built around a carbon fiber monocoque and a mid-mounted V6 engine with a pair of turbochargers make it a machine that has made its mark on racetracks as well, including a class win in the famous endurance race at Le Mans in 2016, fifty years after the triumph of the original GT40.
Separate the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and sand the marks left by the gates down lightly; the joints then line up more cleanly. The model can be assembled straight away without painting; anyone who wants more will paint in details such as the brake calipers, the exhausts or the interior with a brush. At the end, polish the body over with a soft cloth.
The model is supplied unassembled. It goes together without glue; paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
