The Corolla Levin of the AE92 generation was built from the second half of the 1980s and in Japan was among the popular bases for touring car circuit racing. The racing version differs from the production coupe above all in its aerodynamic parts, racing wheels and completely different graphics. The ADVAN designation belongs to a Japanese brand associated with tires, and its striking color scheme is characteristic of the car. Inter TEC was a touring car race held in Japan, and in 1989 cars of this category took part in it in the form corresponding to this box.
A racing body lives off its color scheme, so the base is important: sand the surface through, apply primer and then a white or light base, on which the colors will glow. Spray the covering shades in thin coats. Apply the extensive decals onto gloss varnish, use a softener and work in sections, so that the sheets do not wrinkle. Once they are dry, varnish the whole car with clear varnish, so that the edges of the decals are invisible. The interior of a racer tends to be austere; it pays to concentrate on the seat, the cage and the instruments.
