A plastic kit in 1:24 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fujimi. The model captures the Nissan Fairlady 240Z-L, the more comfortably equipped variant of the classic S30 series coupe. The body tends to be molded in light-colored plastic, and the package contains clear parts for the glazing, rubber tires and a decal sheet. Glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Fairlady 240Z-L was the more luxurious version of the Japanese sports coupe of the S30 series of the early 1970s, sold on export markets as the Datsun 240Z. It was powered by a 2.4 liter inline six-cylinder engine. The L suffix denoted a higher level of interior equipment. The Z series became one of the icons of Japanese sports motoring.
Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic joints. Before painting, sand the body and spray a surfacer, then a gloss coat with an airbrush and finally a clear coat for depth. Apply the decals over a smooth gloss surface and complete the interior in matte shades following period references.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
