About product

Yahu Models Hurricane Mk.I, instrument panel 1:24

A detailed pre-colored photo-etched instrument panel for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.I fighter in 1:24 scale. The panel is built up from several laminated photo-etched layers, so it looks three-dimensional, and the dials are printed in color. A gloss layer on the dial faces imitates the glass of the instruments. The panel is designed as a drop-in replacement: it fits practically without further work.

The real subject

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.I was a British fighter which, together with the Spitfire, bore the main weight of the Battle of Britain in 1940. Its rugged structure with a mixed skinning made it a reliable weapons platform.

Fitting

The panel is glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Thanks to the printed dials and the gloss imitation of glass, painting and applying decals are unnecessary. Proceed carefully, as the parts are small and have sharp edges.

Who the instrument panel is for

  • Modelers of the Hurricane in 1:24 scale who want a realistic cockpit without painting.
  • Those who will appreciate a three-dimensional, color-printed panel ready for immediate fitting.

This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. It contains small photo-etched parts and is not suitable for children.

FAQ

No. The dials are printed in color and carry a gloss imitation of glass, so the panel is simply fitted and glued in.

No, it is a cockpit accessory, the instrument panel alone. A model of the Hurricane is not included.

Super glue (cyanoacrylate) is recommended, as it joins metal photo-etched parts reliably.
