A plastic kit of the luxury Lexus LS600hL limousine with a long wheelbase and a hybrid drive, in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Lexus LS600hL is the flagship limousine of the make, and the letters in the designation say what sets it apart from the base version. The h stands for the hybrid drive, that is, for the combination of a V8 engine with an electric part, and the L for the long wheelbase, which adds room in the rear row. In shape it is a deliberately discreet car: long side windows, calm surfaces without needless edges and an emphasis on making the car feel quiet even before it sets off.
This is a plastic kit. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted, so have cement for polystyrene, a sharp blade, fine sandpaper and paints ready. Cut the parts off a little away from the edge and sand the remainder down so that no dent is left. On the body, take care that all the surfaces are perfectly smooth before painting.
On a limousine everything stands and falls with the paintwork. Apply the paint in thin coats, let them dry in between, and once the last coat has cured, sand it with very fine paper and polish it. Only then can you see how deep a gloss the body will carry. Glue any clear parts with glue intended for clear plastics, otherwise they will go matte, and protect their inner side from overspray.
The set is for modelers with an interest in present-day road cars and for those who want to try working with a large glossy surface. With cars, 1:24 scale is the most widespread one, so the model will fit in well among the other cars in a display case.
The package holds the parts of the kit. Paints, glue and putty are not included, unless stated otherwise.
