An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese sports sedan Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI in 1:24 scale from Tamiya. The model faithfully captures the shape of the car from the front bumper with its large cooling openings to the two-tier rear wing. A detailed interior, a well-developed chassis with wheel suspension and optional front fog lights are included. The parts are molded in white and black, and chrome-plated and clear parts are enclosed as well.
The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI is the high-performance version of the Lancer sedan of the turn of the millennium, which formed the basis of Mitsubishi's competition efforts in the late 1990s. It is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with all-wheel drive, which is what made the Evo famous on special stages and among fans of sharp production cars. Its hallmarks are the aggressive front end with large cooling air intakes and the prominent rear wing.
Clean the body carefully first and remove the seam lines, so that a smooth glossy finish comes out after painting. Apply a primer, then the color and finally a clear coat for deep gloss. Apply the sponsor or competition decals on a perfectly dry finish and help yourself with a decal softener, so that they settle without wrinkling. Detail the interior and the chassis with shades and a restrained wash. Paint the rims and the tires separately; the chrome-plated parts keep the realistic shine of chrome.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
