An injection-molded plastic kit of the competition Mitsubishi Lancer Turbo from the Rally of 1000 Lakes 1982 in 1:24 scale from the NuNu brand (the Racing Series line). The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted with water-slide decals for the competition livery. The set adds rally features in a new mold: auxiliary headlights in the front bumper, flared fenders and a rear wing. The interior is worked up in detail with a roll cage, a bucket seat and an instrument panel; rubber tires, transparent parts and chromed light reflectors are not missing. The finished model measures around seventeen centimeters.
Mitsubishi entered the Lancer Turbo in the World Rally Championship in the early 1980s as a turbocharged rear-wheel-drive special. In Finland at the Rally of 1000 Lakes in 1982 the car finished in third place, which belonged among its notable results. The model thus recalls the period era of rally turbo specials.
Paint the body with an airbrush and finish the competition livery with decals onto gloss paint, so that no silvering arises. Weather the interior with its cage for a faithful competition look; fit the auxiliary lights and the glazing at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
