The Aoshima 1:24 Nissan Cedric/Gloria 4HT 280E Brougham plastic kit captures a luxury Japanese four-door hardtop of the 430 generation from the early 1980s.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer Aoshima in 1:24 scale. The subject is the luxury sedan, or rather the four-door hardtop, Nissan Cedric and its sister model the Gloria in the 280E Brougham equipment. The model matches the 1982 model year. The body, the interior and the running gear are made up of plastic parts meant to be assembled and painted.
The Cedric and the Gloria were practically identical Nissan luxury cars, sold under two names through different sales networks. The 430 generation was built at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s and represented the stately Japanese sedan of its day. The 280E designation refers to a six-cylinder engine of roughly 2.8 liters with injection, and the Brougham equipment was the highest luxury level, with a richer interior.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. We recommend spraying the body with an airbrush over a primer surfacer; for period cars of this kind, dark metallics or smooth clear coats followed by polishing suit well. The chrome trim strips and window frames will show at their best when finished with chrome paint or tape, and the interior will come to life through the shades of the fabrics and plastics of the cabin.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
