The body of a pickup has large flat surfaces on which every unevenness is visible - sanding, a primer and thin coats of paint pay off here more than with articulated shapes. It is good to paint the bed separately and only then to join it with the body, as the load area is otherwise hard to spray fully. Finish the interior and the chassis before closing the body. Degrease the chrome parts and retouch the chrome lightly on the parting lines. Glue the glazing with a glue for transparent plastics. If you want to build the model in a working form, discreet weathering on the bed and in the wheel arch helps; with a purely custom release, on the contrary, go for a deep gloss and polishing.
