The Toyota 86 is a two-door sports coupe with a body seating two full passengers and two more at a pinch, listed under the factory chassis code ZN6. The engine sits at the front and drives the rear wheels, which made the car a favorite basis for driving courses and for modification. The powerplant is a flat-four, which keeps the center of gravity low. The 2016 version came with reworked bumpers and lights against the first series.
It is a classic plastic car kit, that is a set of parts to glue together and paint. The model is not finished and not painted in advance. To complete it you need cement meant for plastic models, paints, a clear varnish and basic tools. The exact number of parts, the contents of the decal sheet and the version offered are given by the manufacturer on the box and in the instructions.
On car models the surface of the body decides the result. Sand the joints and the marks from production carefully and wash and degrease the surface before painting, or every unevenness will be brought out under the gloss. Apply the paint in thin coats and let them set, and only then move on to the clear varnish. Glue the glass and the headlights with a cement that does not harm clear parts. Paint the interior and the chassis group before you fit the body, as you will not reach them later.
