An injection-molded plastic kit of the fifth generation of the sporting hatchback Volkswagen Golf GTI in 1:24 scale from the manufacturer Fujimi. The set contains a detailed interior, the chassis, the engine, matte chrome-plated wheels with low-profile tires and photo-etched parts (the grille, the instrument panel and others) as well as chrome-plated VW badges. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The fifth generation Volkswagen Golf GTI carried on the tradition of the founder of the hot hatch class. It offered a turbocharged gasoline engine, dynamic handling and a recognizable sporting look with red details and characteristic wheels. It is among the most popular civilian sports cars of its time.
Glue the photo-etched parts with super glue and take care to use fine layers when painting. Paint the body to a gloss over a primer and bring out the sporting details with contrasting shades. Use thin cement for plastic and a clear coat under the decals.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
