A turned metal gun barrel from RB model, a replacement of the plastic part on a finished model. It is a detail accessory, not a model of the vehicle. The long metal gun barrel of large caliber has a perfectly circular cross section and a sharp muzzle, which tends to be a weak point in plastic.
The self-propelled gun nicknamed Dicker Max carried the powerful 10.5 cm K 18 gun on a chassis derived from the Panzer IV. It was an experimental machine built in only a few examples, meant to destroy fortifications and heavy targets at long range.
Clean the burrs off the metal part, degrease it and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. Because of the length and the weight of the gun barrel, make sure it is firmly seated in the trunnion. Apply a metal primer before painting.
It is supplied as a separate detailed metal part. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package.
