A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard, focused on the cabin interior of the American Grumman A-6E TRAM Intruder carrier-based attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. It adds the fine cockpit features that injection-molded plastic cannot capture. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for a kit.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was an American two-seat carrier-based attack aircraft able to make precise strikes in any weather and at night. The A-6E TRAM version was fitted with a sensor system for finding and precisely attacking targets, which raised the combat effectiveness of the machine markedly. The crew was made up of a pilot and an operator sitting side by side.
The bare brass photo-etched parts are separated with a knife, bent over an edge and glued with super glue. Degrease them before gluing and spray them with a base coat once assembled. Fit the instrument panels and side consoles before you close up the cabin, while the interior is still accessible.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
