This is a modeling tool, not a kit. The set brings blades in various shapes and profiles together in one package, so you have at hand an edge for the ordinary job of cutting parts off sprues, a pointed blade for fine cutting and shapes suited to scraping and cleaning up mold parting lines. A sharp blade is a basic condition of a clean result in modeling, because a blunt edge does not cut plastic but tears it and whitens it.
Change a blade before it stops cutting, because putting a torn part right afterward is far more work. Do not cut plastic in one forceful stroke but with repeated light strokes along the same line. When scraping a mold parting line, hold the edge at a right angle to the surface and draw it across the area, which gives a smoother result than sanding. Always cut away from your body, on a cutting mat and with the part firmly held. Store used blades separately and dispose of them safely.
For modelers of every level. A beginner will learn from it which shape of blade suits them, and an advanced modeler will appreciate always having a spare edge at hand and not having to work with a blunt knife.
