The Aires 1:32 Bücker Bü 131 wheels and paint masks with a transverse tread and a hubcap is a resin detail set that replaces the plastic wheels of a model with a more accurate casting and adds masks for easy, clean painting of the tires and the discs.
Responsibility details are not available.
This detail set in 1:32 scale from the Aires brand is not a stand-alone model, but an addition for refining a build of the Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann biplane. It holds resin wheels with a transverse tread pattern in the variant with a hubcap, and paint masks that make a clean transition of color between the tire and the disc easier.
The Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann was a German training biplane of the 1930s. For its easy handling and its durable construction it spread as a basic trainer and was built under license outside Germany as well. The treatment of the landing gear and the wheels is among its characteristic features.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Use respiratory protection when sanding resin. Stick the masks onto the tire, spray over them with the disc color and lift them off carefully once dry.
This is a detail addition, not the aircraft model itself. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
