Eduard 1:32 F-14D seatbelts is a photo-etched set of seat belts for refining the cockpit of a model of the F-14D Tomcat carrier-based fighter.

This is a photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:32 scale. It holds the seat belts of the ejection seats of the F-14D Tomcat fighter, that is harnesses with buckles and fittings. It is not an airplane model but an accessory, which will replace the simplified plastic belts from a kit and bring the cabin interior markedly to life.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat was a supersonic two-seat carrier-based fighter of the US Navy with a variable-geometry wing. The F-14D Super Tomcat version was the most modern variant, with more powerful engines and updated avionics. The crew was made up of a pilot and a weapon systems officer.
The parts are separated from the fret with a sharp blade, formed with tweezers over an edge and glued with super glue. A realistic look is reached by painting the belts and the metal buckles, and if you like by fine shading. The belts are arranged draped loosely over the seats so that they read naturally.
This is a photo-etched accessory for refining a model, not a stand-alone model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
