This is a resin detail set from the Brassin range by the Czech maker Eduard. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory: the set contains accurately cast landing gear wheels for the land-based F-4C, F-4D, F-4E, F-4F and F-4G versions of the Phantom II fighter in 1:32 scale. The tires tend to be rendered weighted, with the hubs as separate parts.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter. The C, D, E, F and G versions served mainly with the US Air Force (USAF); the G Wild Weasel version specialized in suppressing enemy air defenses.
Wash the resin parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint the hubs and the tires separately before gluing them together. The flattened contact patch of the tire helps achieve a realistic stance of the model on its base.
This is an accessory, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
