A set of seat belts of fabric with photo-etched brass fittings for a faithful rendering of the cockpit of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190F-8 ground attack aircraft in 1:32 scale. It is not an airplane model but an accessory — supple fabric seat belts read more realistically in the cockpit than plastic castings.
The Fw 190F-8 was the ground attack version of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190 fighter of the Second World War, derived from the A fighter series and adapted for the support of ground forces. It had strengthened armor and bomb racks, so it proved itself on the Eastern as well as the Western Front.
Cut the belts out, pull them through the photo-etched buckles and fix them with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue. The fabric is shaped over an edge, so the belts blend faithfully with the seat. Painting is as a rule not necessary.
This is a detail accessory, not a model on its own. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
