Eduard 1:32 Fokker D.VII is a photo-etched detail set for refining the plastic kit of this German fighter biplane. It is not a stand-alone model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of brass photo-etched parts from the Czech maker Eduard, meant to refine the plastic kit of the Fokker D.VII in 1:32 scale. The accessory adds the fine features that are hard to achieve in injection-molded plastic. It is not a model of the aircraft but a set of extras for a kit you already own.
The Fokker D.VII was a German single-seat fighter biplane deployed at the close of the First World War in 1918. It counted as one of the most capable fighters of its day, easy to handle even at low speeds. It was powered by a Mercedes or a BMW inline engine. Its reputation is shown by the fact that after the war it was expressly named in an international agreement among the items to be handed over to the victorious powers.
The photo-etched parts are separated with a sharp blade on a hard surface, bent with a bending tool or over the edge of a ruler and glued as a rule with super glue. Bare brass parts are worth degreasing before gluing and spraying with a base coat once assembled, so that the paint holds well. Work with tweezers and, when planning your order of work, fit the extras before you close up the fuselage.
This is an add-on photo-etched set, not a kit. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
