During the First World War the ground personnel played a key part in operating bomber aircraft: they serviced, replenished and maintained the machines between flights. Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Acrylics suit the painting, and the face and the uniform can be picked out by layering and fine washes. The figure shows to best advantage in a diorama with a period aircraft in 1:32 scale.
