German Luftwaffe pilot for the Bf 109 with a seat, 1:32 is a resin figure of a German fighter pilot suited to the cockpits of Messerschmitt Bf 109 models in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a separate resin figure of a seated German fighter pilot of the Second World War, together with a pilot seat. The set is intended to bring the cockpit of Messerschmitt Bf 109 models in 1:32 scale to life. Thanks to the resin casting, the figure has finely worked detail on the flight suit, the life vest and the equipment. Resin construction makes the set more of a product for experienced modelers.
Luftwaffe pilots flying the Bf 109 wore the typical flying clothing of a flight suit, a life vest and a parachute harness. A figure seated in the cockpit is exactly what gives a finished model scale and life, and it also draws attention to a well-detailed interior that would otherwise stay empty.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and fit the figure into the seat. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Do the sanding with respiratory protection. Acrylic paints applied with a brush suit the figure well, set off with washes and dry highlighting of the folds of the clothing.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
