A figure of aircrew of the First World War in 1:32 scale, listed as a German or Austro-Hungarian pilot.
Responsibility details are not available.
The flying kit of the First World War was similar in the German and in the Austro-Hungarian air service: a leather coat and gloves against the cold in an open cockpit, a helmet and goggles. That is precisely why the item is listed as a German or Austro-Hungarian pilot; it is usable for models of both sides, and the allegiance is decided only by the color finish you choose.
A figure in 1:32 scale belongs with large airplane models. A figure beside a machine gives the viewer a comparison of size and turns a model on a base into a scene; it suits a diorama with an airfield background just as well as a separately displayed airplane.
Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the facet down. Wash and degrease the figure before painting, otherwise the paint does not hold. Then lay down a primer coat and build the shades up in thin coats. On the leather parts of the kit a dark base and gradual lightening of the edges prove their worth; leave the face until the end, because that is what everyone looks at first.
The airplane model, paints, glue and a base are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
