HGW 1:32 Hannover Cl.II – surface details is a brass photo-etched set for refining the external surface of a model of the German two-seat aircraft Hannover Cl.II. It is not an airplane model but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A brass photo-etched set in 1:32 scale from the Czech maker HGW for refining the external appearance of a model of the German aircraft Hannover Cl.II. It holds fine surface elements – inspection panels, handholds, covers and external fittings, which replace the coarser plastic details of the base kit. The set is NOT a model on its own, it is an upgrade accessory.
The Hannover Cl.II was a German two-seat light combat biplane of the CL class of 1917 and 1918, used for escort and for attacks on ground targets. It was compact and agile; typical of it was its twin tail surface, which improved the rear gunner's view and fire. The Argus As.III inline engine provided the power.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife or a fine razor saw and shape them with a bender. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, and on larger parts with a slower epoxy. Degrease the brass before painting and prime it so that the paint holds.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
