HGW 1:32 Polikarpov I-16 Rata fabric seat belts are a detail set of fabric belts and photo-etched buckles for a faithful rendering of the pilot's seat on models of the I-16 in 1:32 scale.

This is a detail accessory, not the model itself. The set holds seat belts of printed microfabric and photo-etched buckles. It is intended for models of the Soviet Polikarpov I-16 fighter, nicknamed the Rata, in 1:32 scale and replaces the flat belts from the kit with a truer solution.
The belts are of genuine fine fabric and behave like real cloth: they can be rippled and laid into the seat in a natural shape. The material stands up to ordinary non-aggressive modeling products and will take filters and oil paints. The photo-etched buckles give the whole a metallic look true to scale.
Separate the belt from the backing paper, work it briefly to soften it and to form the folds, and thread it through the buckles. Bond the metal joints with super glue and the fabric preferably with PVA glue. Tune the tone with thinned oil paint; a matte coat will even the surface out.
This is an accessory for a model. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
