Eduard Lancaster B Mk.I (1:32) is a set of precisely die-cut masking templates for painting the glazing and the wheels.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detail accessory, not a model. The set contains precisely die-cut self-adhesive masks from kabuki tape intended for plastic models of the bomber Avro Lancaster B Mk.I in 1:32 scale. The masks follow the frames of the cockpit and turret glazing exactly and also serve for masking the wheel hubs.
The masks markedly speed up and improve the accuracy of painting the glass; instead of laboriously laying out tape, all you do is stick the finished shapes on. The result is crisp, clean edges to the frames with no paint running under them.
First clean and degrease the glazing. Lift the masks carefully off the sheet (with the tip of a knife, for example), lay them on the glass and press them down so that the edges adhere well. Spray in thin coats so that the paint does not run under the edge, and remove the masks before the paint has fully hardened.
The set contains no model and no paints; these are masking templates on their own.
