A detailed resin set capturing a pair of First World War Lewis Mk.III aircraft machine guns in 1:32 scale from GasPatch. This is not an aircraft model but an accurately cast accessory meant to replace the coarser plastic weapons in kits of First World War aircraft. Thanks to cast resin the set captures the fine detail of the jacket, the cooling fins and the mechanism that injection-molded plastic cannot manage.
The set replaces the machine guns from the box and raises the armament of the model to scale-model standard. The package contains a pair of machine guns and suits First World War fighters as well as reconnaissance aircraft in 1:32 scale. Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash off the remains of the mold release agent and degrease them. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding and cleaning up. Apply a primer before painting and set off the metal shades with gentle edge highlighting.
This is an add-on set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unpainted; the base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
