The HGW Light Plywood wet transfer in 1:32 scale imitates the light plywood (veneer) used to cover the fuselages of some First World War aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of Light Plywood wet transfers from HGW in 1:32 scale. It imitates the light tone of plywood (veneer) with wood grain of the kind used on the monocoque fuselages of some First World War aircraft.
A number of German machines (for example types with a monocoque fuselage) had the fuselage covered with thin layers of plywood instead of fabric. The resulting surface had visible wood grain and overlaps of the veneer strips, which this transfer carries onto the model.
It is a wet transfer (slide transfer) that is released from the backing in lukewarm water and transferred onto the surface of the model. Apply it onto a smooth, gloss-varnished base, press out the air bubbles and help it settle with a decal softener and a setting solution so that it beds down into the details as well. Once dry, go over it with matte varnish.
The transfer is a modeling accessory, not an aircraft kit. Paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
