An aftermarket detail set in resin, not a standalone kit. This set from the manufacturer Reskit is intended for models of the Lockheed F-104S/G Starfighter in the late version in 1:32 scale and replaces the plastic exhaust nozzle with a more faithful resin part.
The nozzle of the Starfighter is a prominent element of its slender fuselage. The resin version offers finely cast petals and a depth that production plastic parts usually do not have, and so raises the realism of the rear of the model.
Wash the part in lukewarm water with detergent, cut off the casting block and clean the surface up; protect your airways when sanding resin. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply metallic shades over a smoothly sprayed surface, so that they show to effect.
