Film for the cockpit glazing of the Japanese Kawanishi N1K2-J fighter in 1:32 scale, cut to the Hasegawa kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This fighting machine has an unusual pedigree. It grew out of the Kyofu floatplane, and that is why the first land version carried a high-set wing and long landing gear legs that often broke. The second generation, designated N1K2-J, was given a wing set low, a reworked fuselage and simpler landing gear. The armament was four twenty millimeter cannon in the wing and the machine had automatic flaps, thanks to which it kept the upper hand in a turn even over faster opponents. Allied airmen knew it under the code name George and the best known unit that flew it was the 343rd group.
Inside you will find self-adhesive masks shaped exactly to the frames of the canopy of the large Japanese model of the Hasegawa brand. The set allows for the frames having a different shade on each side, and therefore covers the surface from the inside and the outside.
On Japanese machines the inside of the frames as a rule keeps to the dark green color of the pilot's compartment, while the upper camouflage joins on outside. Double masking separates the two shades with a sharp edge and the view through stays clean, which on such a large canopy is clearly visible even from a distance.
The package is aimed only at the glass. Obtain the hinomaru and the lettering separately.
