This is a collector resin figure of a soldier from the Vietnam War period (the year 1968), in 1:32 scale from MAiM. It is not a kit but a standalone figure meant for a themed diorama and for a collector display case.
The figure captures an infantryman in a combat situation at the end of the 1960s. It is treated in historical modeling terms as a study of a character for a diorama set in Southeast Asia. It serves to reconstruct the gear and the atmosphere of the period.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Acrylic paints applied with a brush are a good choice, together with gradual shading of the skin and of the camouflage pattern and light washes to bring out the gear and the folds.
Supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
